Nasim Basmati Rice
A LONG, SLENDER BASMATI GRAIN TO BEHOLD.
Nasim® Basmati Rice was always destined for fame. The name refers to the “soft, fresh breeze” that caresses the foothills of the Himalayas, where the world’s finest basmati is grown. Highly aromatic and flavorful with a white color, this premium long grain rice will take center stage at any meal. Excellent for biryani, Turkish pilau, Yemen mandi and Persian tahchin. 1 cup of Nasim® Basmati Rice
1½ cups water
1 tbsp. of oil/butter (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)
Stove Top: Take 1 cup of Nasim® Basmati Rice and gently rinse twice. Boil 1½ cups of water. Pour the drained rice into the boiling water. Once cooking starts, stir gently and cover with lid. Cook the rice on medium to low flame for 12-14 minutes* or until all the water has been fully absorbed. Once the cooking process is complete, leave the cooked rice in the pan for 5 minutes. Serve.
Electrical Rice Cooker: Take 1 cup of Nasim® Basmati Rice and rinse twice to remove starch. Place rice and water in an electric rice cooker. Cover the cooker, turn it on, and cook. Fluff with fork and serve.
